Description

Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US-based Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer support their Aircrew Training Systems division.


The candidate will be needed to create electrical drawing packages for advanced flight training simulators including human centrifuges that train fighter pilots up to 15 Gs.  Simulators include servo motors and drives, PC data acquisition for analog
and digital I-O, operator control panels, transformers and various power supplies, electrical slip rings, and audio and video equipment.  Position includes coordinating with production personnel during product integration to develop most cost effective
design.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BSEE
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical design
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical
  • Familiarity with Fieldbus technology (CANbus, EtherCAT, INTERBUS, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with basic grounding principles preferred
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code preferred
  • Knowledge of UL standards preferred

This is a Full Time 40 hour a week position and also offers opportunity for career progression.
