Purchasing Agent

ETC USA is currently seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team in Southampton, PA 18966.

About the role:

We are seeking a Purchasing Agent with 3-5 years experience preferably in a custom equipment manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Prepares complex bid investigations, evaluates bid proposals, and issues purchase orders.

• Researches new products, vendors/suppliers, equipment.

• Obtaining quotes and placing orders with vendors.
• Resolving issues to ensuring delivery of components in required time.
• Organizing data for multiple jobs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel Min.) required.
• The ability to interact effectively with vendors.
• This position requires the use of initiative and sound, independent judgment
• Moderate degree of technical knowledge
